Agency Mission: The ASH Board and Staff support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live rich, fulfilling, and productive lives with dignity and respect.

Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant supports the mission of the ASH Board and Staff by providing administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the agency. This position is responsible for maintaining organized office systems, assisting with special projects, and supporting the administrative team with daily tasks. The Administrative Assistant upholds a safe and efficient work environment, enabling staff to better serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This is a 32 hour per week position in office.

Key Responsibilities

Front desk receptionist duties.

Create and manage digital file storage of agency records.

Manage contact databases for vendors and contractors.

Schedule facility repairs and maintenance as needed.

Manage basic IT needs.

Maintain vehicle maintenance records.

Assist with marketing and social media as requested.

Organize and file financial records as directed to support efficient office operations.

Assist with special projects as assigned by the administrative team or Executive Director.

Support the administrative team with day-to-day tasks and coordination.

Manage office supplies and facilities, ensuring inventory is maintained and spaces are orderly.

Ensure safety equipment and resources are available and functional, including the regular inspection and readiness of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Maintain office cleanliness.

Qualifications and Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum one year experience in an office setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and graphics programs.

Experience managing social media accounts.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to pass a criminal records check.
