Acupuncture Assistant needed in busy office. Must be a people person, fast learner, and good multi-tasker. Duties include greeting patients, doing patient intakes, pulling needles, doing electrical stimulation, cupping and moxibustion therapy. You will be trained thoroughly. Also light housekeeping and ordering supplies Insurance billing experience is a plus. We need a good team player and someone who enjoys helping others.
We have a wonderful quiet environment. There is very peaceful music playing, and most find it enjoyable to work in the office. We have excellent patients that tend to be getting better and are comfortable the whole time they’re in the office. I had one Acupuncture assistant work with me for over 20 years and another for 11 years. It’s a very rewarding job if you enjoy helping others.
Besides the hourly salary, we will give you 12 free acupuncture treatments a year. And a significant discount on more if you need more. You would receive herbs at my cost. You’ll learn about herbs and their benefits. After two years, I will do a matching Ira with you if you want.
Hours are 12-20 hours a week. Mainly 2 days a week on Thursdays and Fridays, occasionally Wednesdays, No weekends.
Pay starts at $16-17 an hour depending on experience.
