We are seeking a skilled Freight Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, transportation management systems, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize transportation management systems to coordinate shipments
- Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
- Manage accounts and build strong relationships with clients
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for transporting goods
- Utilize software such as AS400 for logistics operations
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for efficient freight movement
