Powell’s Books, the largest independent bookseller in the world, is seeking a part-time Generalist to work at Powell's Books kiosk at the beautiful Portland International Airport. Candidates should have an interest in and an aptitude for excellent customer service in a busy environment, proactive bookselling, and visual merchandising.
The schedule is:
Monday 11am - 3pm
Tuesday OFF
Wednesday OFF
Thursday OFF
Friday 10am - 3pm
Saturday 3pm - 7pm
Sunday 10am - 3pm
The starting wage for this position is $15.95 per hour, with a wage increase to $17.00 effective the first day of the pay period following the 31st calendar day from hire.
