Kramer Gehlen & Associates, Inc. a growing, well-established structural engineering firm in Vancouver, Washington seeks a skilled, entry level Structural Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a team member who is professional, collaborative, knowledgeable and organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree in civil engineering preferred with emphasis in structural engineering.

Engineer in training preferred.

Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with architectural clients and contractors.

Ability to organize, coordinate, multi-task and complete work accurately while meeting deadlines.

Responsible with strong work ethic, integrity and reliability.

Approachable and friendly; develops and maintains positive working relationships.

Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.

Capable using MS Word, Excel and Outlook; additional computer skills are a plus.

This is a full-time position working on-site in Vancouver, Washington. Our offices are centrally located in beautiful downtown—a short walk to restaurants, parks, coffee shops and trails.

Annual starting base salary: $56,000 - $67,000. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees. KGA offers a total rewards package with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA, disability, life, 401(k), annual bonus program, professional development assistance, paid parking, flexible work schedule, vacation (8 hours per month), sick leave (5 hours per month) and 8 paid holidays.
