Job Description:
We currently have available a full-time position for a Structural Project Manager with 5-15 years of experience. Salary is commensurate with experience and ranges between $100k-$150k based on the qualifications described below. (Signing bonus available to successful applicant)
Candidates will be evaluated/selected based upon their commercial and residential building design experience with timber, concrete, masonry, and steel and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Although not mandatory, additional evaluation metrics may consist of candidates experience engineering and/or management within the industrial engineering sector. Good interpersonal skills are also required as employee management and frequent client interaction will be part of the candidates’ responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a relaxed and vibrant office environment while helping to guide and build our new Portland office. Our commercial building division is involved daily in a wide variety of building projects ranging from retail to multi-story commercial structures, high end residential, mid-level multi-family housing, K-12 schools, medical, retail, industrial, and seismic retrofit projects.
Minimum Requirements:
5-15 years’ experience of structural design in the consulting engineering industry with a bachelor’s degree minimum
in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or on immediate track for PE licensing.
Proficiency with engineering related programs such as RISA3D, Enercalc, Ram Concept, Ram Structure, Etabs,
BlueBeam, etc and/or high adaptability to learning new software and technology.
Familiar with NDS, AISC, ASCE 7, ACI, and International Building Codes
Ability to work independently, and with a team.
Solid writing and organization skills.
