Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Wholesale Distribution industry located in Portland, Maine. Specifically, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role primarily focuses on managing accounting functions, specifically around accounts receivable and billing. Responsibilities: Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Handle customer credit inquiries and resolve any issues promptly Monitor customer credit accounts and implement actions to collect delinquent payments Perform light reception duties as needed Utilize Quickbooks Online for various accounting tasks Manage invoice distribution Utilize ADP - Financial Services for relevant operationsSkills: Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Billing Functions Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in Quickbooks Online.Requirements Must have prior experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in billing functions is required Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services will be beneficial Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online is essential Ability to work in a wholesale distribution industry is necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is expected Must be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
