Description Robert Half is offering a role as a Billing Specialist for a motivated professional with a detail-oriented approach and organizational skills. This is a short-term, contract/temporary role based in Portland, Oregon.If you have a process improvement perspective and a motivation to make a difference, please apply! Day-to-day tasks will include:
Oversee billing process from start to finish, noting complexities and variances.
Checking billing documents for accuracy, and correcting or obtaining missing data when necessary.
Liaising with other teams to maintain data quality and consistency.
Processing and reviewing bills or invoices for completed services.
Establishing financial controls and procedures.
Requirements
Key skills and experience:
Strong knowledge of billing processes, financial principles, and applicable laws and regulations.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a billing, accounts receivable or similar role.
Proficiency in billing software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proactiveness in identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Large ERP system familiarity is a must (i.e. Sage, SAP or DelTek)
