Senior Transmission Line EngineerLocationNationwideJob Code16832# of openings1Apply Now (https://phh.tbe.taleo.net/phh04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=POWERENGINEERS&cws=44&rid=16832)Senior Civil/Structural Overhead Transmission Line EngineerPOWER Engineers is currently seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic addition. The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full time at a location other than a POWER Engineers designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.Required Education/Experience

Civil (BSCE) or Electrical (BSEE) degree, from an accredited university preferably with a power option

Experience in the design of overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines including route selection, line and structure spotting, structure design and analysis, and development of construction bid packages

Minimum of 7 years of PLS-CADD/Transmission Line Design Experience Required, 10 years preferred

The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to communicate effectively with internal team members and external client personnel

Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite

Desired Education/Experience

Professional Engineering license (PE) strongly preferred

That might seem contradictory to some, but it works for us!Base Salary Range: $87K - $125KThe range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike.
