Job Title: Barista
Location: Pearl District Coffee
Shift: Wednesdays, 7 AM - 5 PM
Pay: $16-$18/hour (depending on experience) + Tips
We are looking for an experienced or non-experience barista to join our team in Pearl District! The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, fun drink, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, and specialty drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and work areas.
Requirements:
- Previous experience preferred as a barista or in a similar role is required.
- knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso and latte art (plus).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the shift anytime Between from 7 AM to 5 PM (Mon-Sun).
