JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist with a great attitude, good patient communication skills, and a team player to join our small private dental practice. This role involves managing the front desk operations in a dental office ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
DUTIES
-Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at all times.
-Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using computerized systems such as Open Dental and Modento.
-Process patient intake forms and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
-Answer phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
-Verifying patient insurance to ensure information is up to date and accurate.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
-Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
-Familiarity with dental terminology is essential for effective communication.
-Proficiency in using office equipment and software, particularly Open Dental or similar systems.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and stay on track with minimal supervision.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Working Hours are Monday - Thursday from 6:30am - 4:00pm with lunch from 11-12.
Pay is based on experience but averages between $17-22 per hour.
