Role Overview (On-Call Position)
We are seeking a highly experienced professional cleaner who can confidently step into client homes and deliver high-quality work without extensive training or oversight. This is an on-call, as-needed role designed for someone who already knows how to clean professionally and can support our team by covering shifts when needed, sometimes on short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough, detail-oriented professional home cleaning
- Step into unfamiliar homes and adapt quickly to the space and expectations
- Follow Tidy Gnomes cleaning standards and safety protocols
- Communicate promptly with leadership about availability and shift acceptance
What We’re Looking For:
This role is for someone who already:
- Has strong professional residential cleaning experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Understands deep cleaning, maintenance cleaning, and time management inside a home
- Has the experience and skill to complete a home on their own within the allotted time while meeting high-quality standards
- Can independently assess what needs to be done and complete the work efficiently
- Is comfortable working alone with no direct supervision
- Can walk into a home they’ve never cleaned before and know exactly where to start
- Uses good judgment, communicates clearly, and represents the company professionally
This role requires someone who is:

Compensation:
$23/hour
100% of tips
Mileage reimbursement
Paid drive time

Note: This is an on-call role with no guaranteed hours.
Requirements:
- Professional residential cleaning experience is required
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Smartphone
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Background check (Oregon compliant)
- Flexibility to accept short notice shifts
