Security Signs, a leading full-service custom fabrication sign company in SE Portland, Oregon, is looking for an industrial painter with expertise in painting aluminum and steel.
Essential Functions
Prepare signs for paint application including sanding, taping, and paper masking.
Paint detailed and large-scale signage and structures using HPLV spray equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper performance.
Store, handle, and dispose of paint, stain, varnish, and other chemicals according to established procedures.
Perform related duties such as mixing paint and color matching.
Utilize all required safety equipment and procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines along with Security Signs safety policies.

Experience
Previous experience as a sign or industrial painter (2+ years required)
Requirements:
Pre-employment drug screen of illegal or controlled substances.
This position requires the ability to bend, lift, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to move 55 lbs. and occasionally 100 lbs. of products and materials.
