Packaging Associate
Our Client is a contract packer or co-packer, co-packs ready to drink beverage products in aluminum cans ranging from juices, energy drinks, teas and carbonated soda drinks in a wide variety of aluminum can sizes.
Summary
The Packaging Associate is responsible for transforming Work in Progress (WIP) into a finished good configuration. This is done through a manual process of unpacking and repacking product.
Duties
Sort finished canned drinks on a fast-paced conveyor into variety packs
Wrap and unwrap pallets of finished goods
Conduct housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness of the workstation and all areas of the warehouse.
Remain in a station which rotates throughout the entire shift unless otherwise instructed by Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Requirements
Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
Minimum of 9 months recent experience working in a manufacturing and/or warehouse required
Ability to lift up to 40lbs repeatedly
Ability to maintain effectiveness (quality) and efficiency (productivity) in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of good attendance in past roles
Prior experience following GMPs in a food/beverage manufacturing highly preferred.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-2:00am (call for current shift availability)
Location: Clackamas NOT public transit accessible
Pay: Starting at $18.50/hr ($2 differential for certain overnight hours)
