Admin Driver Operations Specialist at Broadway Cab

Broadway Cab is looking for a self-starting individual for our Driver Operations Department. (NOT a driving position but working in the office assisting drivers and other staff). If you like to keep busy doing a wide variety of tasks throughout the day, this job is for you!

Specific Tasks and Duties:

General items (city licensing of vehicles, vehicle inspections completed, switching taxis out for drivers)

Respond and report issues to the General Manager

Driver recruitment assistance

New Driver on-boarding

Driver Tablet issues – be able to trouble shoot driver tablet issues (will train for this task)

Assist Drivers with general issues and questions

Assist with complaint investigations and response

Address customer service issues

Communicate with the maintenance shop regarding various vehicle status updates

Be the acting GM in times of vacations and GM’s absence

Any duty as requested by the General Manager

Communicate with accounting and billing and be able to analyze and respond as needed

Basic accounting and billing duties (will train for this task)

Drive cabs to and from the car wash, gas station, maintenance shop

Once in a while, use shop vac to vacuum a cab, wipe the dash, clean windows

Once in a while, jump start a cab

Other Job Requirements:

Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Individual must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Being able to

communicate verbally and in a written manner is important to the position.

Customer Service Skills: Individual must have excellent customer service skills in dealing with Drivers, Agencies, and

Passenger issues. Must be able to professionally handle complaints and responses.

Computer Skills: Including Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook. Individual must have good computer skills,

including writing and responding to emails in a professional manner.

Education: A high school education is required. A college degree is preferred but not required.

Experience: Experience working in ground transportation is preferred but not required. We will train the right individual.

A Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience is required.

Reporting: The position reports directly to the General Manager.

Contact with others: Provides routine information to employees, managers and external relationships and general inquiries. Frequently handles calls from/contacts with passengers, drivers, and clients - patience and tact are required. Maintains

confidentiality.

Supervision Received: Minimal daily supervision, receives goals and basic procedures for project assignments. Must

handle prioritization with a variety of competing activities. Performs tasks independently. Seeks guidance to assure

complete and appropriate action.

Working Conditions: General office environment with minimal physical effort. Good working conditions requiring normal

safety precautions. Frequent use of personal computer.
