Local Portland tree care company is looking to add to our team! We are a medium-size company that offers a very happy work environment, PTO and opportunities for growth. We are seeking an honest, trustworthy and cheerful office manager to join our team.

The Office Assistant works with the Owner and the Office Coordinators to provide quality customer service to our clients and excellent support to the owner and our field crew. Will need a positive attitude even when multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling estimates and jobs; balancing work loads per crew assignments

Scheduling work crew based on skill sets and managing human resources

Managing crew schedules and time off

Obtaining city permits and coordinating with utilities and contractors

Maintaining an organized office and filing system

Systems development in conjunction with the Office Coordinator/Manager

Marketing support

Accomplishing assorted personnel assistant duties for the Owner

Making sure emails and phone calls are returned promptly and daily

TCIA - Annual Wage and Benefit survey; OSHA 300 log

Equipment and vehicle registration; maintenance schedules; GPS tracking

Coordination with PGE, city contract as needed

Required Skills & Abilities:

Experience in administration, customer service, billing, and scheduling

Acute attention to detail

Friendly, kind, and warm with clients, contractors, and co-workers

Ability to multi-task in a busy setting

Reliable, communicative, and solutions-oriented

Ideal Qualities & Experience:

Experience with Google suite (calendar, etc.), Jobber, Schedulibg multiple crews.

Excellent written and verbal skills
