Position Description: The Operations Processor supports day-to-day business operations by executing, monitoring, and improving process workflows. This role ensures operational accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with company procedures. A Operations Processor is expected to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Process daily operational tasks such as data entry, transaction processing, documentation review, or account updates.

Maintain high accuracy and consistency when handling sensitive or time-bound information.

Apply and Post payments (Checks, ACH, Wire Transfer, Credit Cards, Lockbox, etc.) to finance contracts in our CMS system

Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and short/over payments

Conduct audit activities to verify accuracy of postings and resolve discrepancies as needed

Create daily, weekly and monthly reports for both internal and external use

Reconcile daily cash postings and ensure accuracy in financial records

Maintain detailed documentation of payment activity and adjustments, including updating operational SOPs, checklists, or process guides as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Accounting, Compliance, Customer Support, IT, etc.) to support cross-functional workflows.

Work with management to update and/or automate processes

Support process improvements and system enhancements related to cash applications

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Education: Qualifications:

Adequate computer skills

Advanced typing, reading and writing skills

Proficient with Microsoft O365 tools, MS Excel required

Lease and Loan experience, a plus

2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or financial services

Strong knowledge of payment methods, banking processes, and AR systems

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred), or equivalent work experience
