Our team is looking for people who have a broad working knowledge of home repair/improvement and upkeep as you will be answering customer questions and solving complex problems. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic woodworking, lawn and garden care, wall repair and paint is a must. Assist customers with minor repairs in the store. Cut and thread pipe, cut keys, glass, screen, tubing, chain, etc. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Exceptional customer service skills. Time management skills and flexibility of thought. Basic computer skills required. Loading and unloading merchandise. Ringing up customer sales. Ability to stand for long periods of time including walking for the duration of your shift. Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects, reach items off the shelf, bend and stoop. Highly variable work situations with a moderate degree of complexity. Ability to work weekends a MUST. Variable hours and schedule (5hr shifts). High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
