Job description
The Tao of Tea is an established, but rapidly growing, tea manufacturer in Portland, Oregon looking for a motivated new team member to work in our production and order fulfillment.
You will be part of our team's commitment to food safety and safe manufacturing practices. You will help maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping and supply areas; complying with critical food and workplace safety procedures, rules and regulations. Responsible for managing inventory (receiving new shipments, and shipping key orders).
We are looking for someone who:
Can routinely lift 55 lbs
Is comfortable with sustained physical work
Has a proven attention to detail
Is self-motivated
Works as a member of a team
Seeks and suggests process improvement
Possesses high levels of integrity and reliabilit
The job is full time; Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Starting pay is a minimum of $16 - $18 per hour, DOE. Benefits include paid sick time off, as well as Employer sponsored product discount and workplace perks.

Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Stable employment history and good references
Food manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. Previous warehouse work, or experience with heavy lifting, order selecting is also a plus
