Who We Are
Soda Express is a local beverage and snack distribution company focusing on new and emerging brands and National Fortune 500 brands. We are a DSD organization located in Tualatin and service the greater Portland Metro area and into Southwest Washington. Our portfolio includes approximately 650 beverage and snack items – shelf stable and refrigerated.
We distribute and merchandise to customers in various channels and business segments: Nike, Adidas, Intel, Oregon & Washington school districts, grocery, dispensaries, hospitals, medical offices, food service, independent, and c-store accounts.

8am - 5pm
Orders submitted daily by 3pm.
Office Hours: 8am – 5pm

Responsibilities
Sales Representatives are responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers. Duties include developing sales pitches to sell products in our catalog, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers while maintaining documentation of their sales via invoices and/or cooler contracts.
Confidence and strong self-assured communication skills, particularly persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to customers
Answer questions and be knowledgeable about the products in our portfolio
Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
Collaborate with colleagues in many different areas
Schedule and perform product demonstrations with key accounts
Recommend strategies to increase space and sales
Physical endurance, as Sales Representatives may need to be on their feet for long hours, spend a lot of time traveling between locations and carry heavy products
Generate and submit daily recap report to management
Requirements
Proven work experience as a sales representative
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Enter orders into NowCommerce
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

$23.08 base salary + 2.5% sales commission
