Green PNW is accepting applications for full-time welders and fabricators. We are a small locally owned company that is well-established, our team is growing and staff mainly consists of long-time employees and we are looking to hire more!
You will be building metal products for the refuse industry, primarily roll-off dumpsters and waste container bins, or working on heavy truck modifcations. Looking for people of all experience levels, most of the work you will be doing will be production oriented.
Flexible schedule and choose your own hours, M-F from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM schedule with overtime available
Ideal candidate needs to be experienced in MIG/GMAW welding with a minimum of 2 years in a production environment. We exclusively run a spray arc mig process averaging 550-700 IPM, experience with that process and others is required.
Must be detail oriented and able to read shop drawings
Self starter, able to work off of little to no drawings often and achieve desired result with verbal directions
Fitter/fabricator experience and/or heavy industrial fabrication experience or experience with custom manufacturing and/or machinery a plus.
- Able to organize work plan and communicate effectively with other fabrication personnel
- Maintain quality control
- Practice effective time management techniques
- Understand manufacturing methods and techniques
Duties
- Weld, fabricate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to production
- Maintain welding equipment
- Read prints, layout, fit-up, welding, quality control
- Operate other shop equipment (grinder, saw, forklift, crane, plasma torch)
