WANTED: Manufactured home park manager
Experience and personality: Must have experience managing a manufactured home community, and have completed (or are willing and able to complete) classes through MHCO. Must have the ability to deal with people who may be angry or confrontational, not personalizing any situation, but rather de-escalating it to avoid conflict. Communicating effectively and resolving disputes amicably are essential qualities.
Tasks and skills: Receiving rents and entering the data in Google Drive spreadsheet; acquiring proof of insurance, and file copies in tenant file; walk the park routinely, looking for problems that need resolution; prepare and distribute notices and letters regarding problems that are in need of resolution, such as lack of maintenance (home needing painting, cluttered yard, etc.); execute leases for new tenants, and lease renewals as needed; answer calls and enforce park rules as needed; maintain reasonable office hours (M-F), including early AM and late PM when required.
