Sun-Thurs. 35 hours. Off by 6 pm daily.
Salary is negotiable based on experience. Starting at $20 per hour.
You will be employed by a service and receive a W2 at the end of the year. It's all legal.
72 yo lady. 2 small friendly dogs. Mom has dementia and can accuse others of stealing. She often repeats herself and imagines that others are upset with her. The family would intervene as necessary. She takes care of her own hygiene.
Her husband of 33 years died last October. She is lonely and is having a hard time being alone. We all work and cannot give her the attention she needs.
Requirements:
Patience & willingness to give your attention to an older lady.
You must have a drivers license and be willing to drive very safely in mom's car. She frightens easily in the car.
You must pass a background check for theft, predatory or violent crimes. Willing to discuss.
Your responsibilities:
Arrive on time and ready for a good day.
Help mom have a good day.
You will help with lunch, take her to Church/Bible study/ counseling, and go on arranged outings, driving her car. We will pay for any expenses for you to participate. (At the movies, or entry to Oregon Gardens, or lunches out for example.)
Mom is a Trump supporter and not very open-minded. But she does not speak hatefully. Please do not engage in political or religious debate. Even if you agree with her. You will work-her-up.
Mom would be afraid to be alone with a male companion, but we will consider anyone.
Future live-in option available if you are interested and are a good fit for mom.
