Job Title: Civil EngineerJob DescriptionSeeking a civil engineer with land development project management experience to join a small civil engineering firm in eastern Portland. The firm boasts a diverse project portfolio including both public and private projects. Ideal candidates will have experience with client communication, budgeting, proposal writing, reviewing design work, compiling plan sets, assisting designers, storm water modeling, and storm water design. While project management experience in public projects is preferred, experience in subdivision, commercial, and light industrial projects is also acceptable. A PE is preferred, but candidates with an EIT level and project management experience are welcome to apply.Responsibilities

Manage land development projects from inception to completion

Communicate effectively with clients

Handle budgeting and proposal writing

Review design work and compile plan sets

Assist designers with project tasks

Conduct storm water modeling and design

Apply Civil 3D software for site development, grading, and civil design

Ensure project deadlines and specifications are met

Essential Skills

Experience in land development project management

Proficiency in Civil 3D

Strong client communication skills

Knowledge of civil engineering principles including stormwater design

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

PE or on path to obtain PE

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with public projects preferred

Experience in subdivision, commercial, and light industrial projects

Project management experience, at least 1 year

EIT level candidates with project management experience will be considered
