Description Robert Half is working with a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and support services. As part of their commitment to patient well-being, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, supporting patients in their healthcare journey by providing financial guidance and assistance, this role involves contributing to a compassionate and supportive healthcare environment.Responsibilities:

Assist patients in applying for medical assistance programs.

Counsel patients on navigating medical bills, insurance benefits, and available financial resources.

Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing and payment issues.

Review patient accounts and ensure accuracy of billing information.

Educate patients on available financial assistance programs and eligibility criteria.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to support patient financial needs.

Provide training and support to other staff members on financial assistance processes and procedures.

Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the department.

Work closely with hospital administration to develop and implement financial assistance policies and procedures.

Requirements

Requirements:

Fluent in both English and Spanish.

Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.

Preferred experience in a healthcare facility, insurance billing, Medicaid eligibility, or social work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Trustworthy, detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and organized.

Comfortable working in a hospital environment.
