Sales representative needed to promote and bid projects. We are an installing distributor of specialty construction products for the commercial/industrial market. Applicant will be required to assist architects, owners and contractors with product selection and specification writing.
This is a full-time position paying a base salary plus bonus and commission based on performance. Candidate will work out of our main office in Topton, Pa. but occasional travel to Harrisburg/Central, Pa. and overnight stays for factory training are mandatory. Company car and all expenses are provided.
Candidate will report directly to the owner of the firm and will collaborate with entire office staff including Drafting, Service and Installation departments.
The ideal candidate would have an extensive sales background and a basic knowledge of the commercial construction market. Product knowledge would be provided by company training and factory training courses. Computer skills and attention to detail are required to be successful in this position. Ability to read blueprints is helpful - we will train if required.
