Web Content Business Analyst w/CMS, Agile experience - Direct HireJob DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Business Analyst responsible for creating and prioritizing technical requirements for our suite of consumer-facing websites. Your primary responsibilities will be to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translating them into technical user stories to be prioritized and assigned to the in-house website development team. You will work closely with both the internal stakeholders and the developers, and act as a liaison between the two, ensuring smooth delivery.Responsibilities
- Document business requirements and detailed specifications from multi-department stakeholders
- Develop epics, features, user stories, and their acceptance criteria
- Document bugs found in the system
- Prioritize user stories and bugs based on various factors including business need and severity
- Validate acceptance criteria for completed user stories before and after release to production
- Run Agile meetings, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospective and daily stand ups
- Suggest changes to management using analytics to support your recommendations
- 5+ years experience as a business analyst
- 3+ years experience navigating web development environments
- Proven hands-on experience writing user stories in an Agile environment, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Proven ability to generate various reports for management teams
- Candidate must be an excellent communicator at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional technical writing capabilities
- Previous experience with Agile software development lifecycle tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Hands-on experience with a content management system such as WordPress preferred
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
