Personal Care Assistant

Duties include working one-to-one with a student with one or more of the following needs:autism/emotional/behavioral needs/intellectual disability/medical needs/physical needs/grooming andpersonal care needs/academic needs/organizational and impulsivity needs, in the classroom, specials,lunch and recess. Assist student with daily activities, both academic and social.Employment contingent upon personal care services being required for the student's individualized educational program. Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD. If student toileting is required, additional $1.25 per hour will be added to base pay.
