The successful applicant will be responsible to transport Delaware Valley Students to and from their off-campus housing to DelVal main campus for the specified routes or to on campus events. They are responsible for the safety of the passengers, and for making sure they maintain the timely schedules. Shuttle driver will be responsible for checking students' DelVal identification. Shuttle Driver will be responsible for making sure the vehicle used is properly inspected at the beginning and end of every shift. In addition, they will make sure the vehicle is properly fueled and will report any discrepancies to the on-duty Patrol supervisor. The shuttle driver will be required to use an assigned handheld radio and will report to dispatch their arrival and departure times. The driver should be able to operate the vehicle in all weather-related climate and will adhere to the University School schedule to provide the safe transport of the Delval students. The Shuttle driver will need to complete assigned drivers training for both Allied Universal and the Delval mandatory driver training. In addition the shuttle driver will need to achieve the certificate issued at the conclusion of the training provided
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
21+ Years of Age Security Experience - +1 Years Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
Comfortable Dealing with Transient and Inebriated Populations
CPR Certification
Customer Service Experience
Lift Up to 20 lbs
Stand for Long Periods of Time
Walk for Long Periods of Time

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
