Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Emmaus, PA Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Type: Contract-hire Pay: $20-22 per hour Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities:
Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken or damaged equipment, tools, etc.
Install appliances and equipment as needed.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems.
Test the functionality of the facility’s safety systems.
Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and/or other facility projects.
Report to facility or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those in need of attention, and currently in progress.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Able to lift 75lbs/ comfortable working at heights above 4 feet.
One year minimum exposure in a mechanical field (preferred)
Ability to learn HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Experience working with basic hand tools and learn the use of other tools.
Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
Ability to complete tasks without direct supervision and work overtime when required.
