Maintenance PlannerJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning the daily and weekly activities of the maintenance department. This includes maintaining the CMMS system, scheduling planned and predictive tasks, scheduling and managing outside contractors, and purchasing and stocking repair and maintenance parts and stores.Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Safety First:o Observe and follow Health and Safety practices and regulations at all times.o Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.o Ensure that safety is prioritized in all planned activities.o Participate in safety programs and trainings as assigned or volunteered.o Maintain safety awareness and identify opportunities to change unsafe behaviors and conditions. Quality & Customer Focus:o Participate and promote company’s Quality Policy and Objectives.o Actively seek opportunities to improve through use of the Corrective Action system. Job Duties:o Maintain and update the CMMS system.o Plan and follow-up on maintenance tasks.o Provide technical support to maintenance and manufacturing personnel by training and troubleshooting.o Interpret operational manuals, manufacturers' specifications, blueprints, and schematics for machinery and equipment.o Maintain equipment files and information to provide guidance and knowledge on plant processes.o Schedule and manage outside contractors for services not conducted by the department.o Update and initiate the PM program and track results.o Manage vendors and supplies related to repair and maintenance.o Manage procurement activity of repair and maintenance goods and services by maintaining relationships with existing vendors and locating additional suppliers and services as required.o Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.o Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.o Perform assigned duties as necessary from time to time.Skills
