Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. Our Residential Program is looking to hire a part-time, 20 hours per week, energetic Behavior Support and Training Specialist.Qualifications:

Documented completion of a comprehensive behavior training program required.

Bachelor's degree required.

Special education or behavior therapy major preferred.

Behavior Analyst Certification Board certificate required.

Completion of education credits needed to maintain BACB certification required.

Prior experience working with adults with disabilities preferred.

Acceptable Criminal Record, Child Abuse History and Department of Human Services FBI Clearance required.

Passing of physical examination and TB required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and implement a positive behavioral support plan for identified individuals in the Franklin Division, utilizing professional input of program staff.

Demonstrate a minimum of 70% of total behavioral support hours as face-to-face time (in person or virtual) interfacing with family, DSPs, FLSs, and individuals.

Demonstrate use of data to impact individual outcomes (review to include law enforcement, restrictive procedures, inpatient, restraint, confirmed abuse/neglect, polypharmacy, target behavioral data, individuals' satisfaction with services).

Follow up after a hospitalization for mental illness at 7 days minimum.

Hours and Benefits:

The position is 20 hours per week within a schedule arranged with the Director. The hourly rate is $25.00.

Part-time benefits include Paid Time Off and 403(b) retirement savings plan participation.
