- Partners with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
- Identifies the required resources to deliver the project and manage the resources effectively
- Plans project budgets with IT leadership and track costs to meet the budgets
- Develops detailed project schedules and work plans
- Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
- Manages vendors and suppliers as necessary to accomplish tasks and deliverables
- Uses industry best practices, techniques, and standards for the project duration
- Monitors the progress of projects and adjusts as necessary to manage risks and issues
- Identifies areas of improvement for future projects
- Can adapt between large projects or managing several smaller projects depending on organizational needs
- Capable of writing/reviewing requirements, test cases, and similar documentation as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related experience
- Project management training and experience with Agile project management
- Minimum of 3-5 years project management related experience with IT projects
- PMP certification or Agile certification is preferred
- Experience with healthcare, regulated industries, computer systems validation, and GMP is preferred
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Experience with change management is a plus
- Comfortable presenting project status and outcomes to executive leadership
