The Data Manager will be responsible for implementing data management best practices, ensuring data integrity, and enabling efficient data access and utilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, digital engineering, and digital transformation, with 6-10 years of relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:Data Governance and Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy that aligns with CTC/EVC's business objectives and compliance requirements.

Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).

Data Management and Integration:

Develop the company data architecture based on evolving application integration requirements and current enterprise systems. Resolve data duplication and consistency issues. Implement this architecture in collaboration with application development needs.

Manage and maintain structured data within CostPoint, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and integration with other systems.

Oversee the organization and management of unstructured data stored on network shares and SharePoint, including data classification, archiving, and access controls.

Utilize NetApp storage solutions to ensure optimal data storage, retrieval, and backup processes.

Microsoft 365 Administration:

Administer and optimize the use of M365 applications, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, to facilitate efficient data collaboration and sharing across the organization.

Develop and enforce M365 data management policies, ensuring proper data access, sharing, and retention practices.

Data Security and Compliance:

Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure data protection measures are in place, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.

Ensure compliance with data-related regulations and standards, including CMMC, FAR, DFARS, and internal data policies.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

Support the development of data analytics and reporting capabilities, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Work with stakeholders to identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for data management effectiveness.

Training and Support:

Provide training and support to end-users on data management best practices, M365 tools, and data security protocols.

Serve as a subject matter expert on data management, offering guidance and troubleshooting for data-related issues.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

6-8 years of experience in data management, with a focus on structured and unstructured data systems, proven experience implementing enterprise data architectures, and integration with application development teams.

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, particularly SharePoint and Teams.

Familiarity with NetApp storage solutions and CostPoint ERP.

Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.

Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, including M365, NetApp, and ERP systems.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Knowledge of data privacy laws, regulations, and frameworks relevant to government contracting (e.g., CMMC, FAR, DFARS).

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience in M365 data administration, data warehouse/data lake management.

Direct experience in data integration and data management with integration of AI tools.

Experience in database management such as Oracle and/or SQL.

Project management experience.
