3rd shift Security Officer

The Opportunity: Will provide a safe and secure workplace for all people on property while protecting Mattel’s assets/interests. Perform daily duties that assists warehouse production.What Your Impact Will Be: Enforce Mattel Global Security Department Best Practices and adhere to US Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program recommendationsRespond to all emergencies and take appropriate actionProtect the Distribution Center from theft, vandalism, fire and/or unauthorized accessPerform administrative data entry duties for inbound and outbound tractor trailers or vehiclesScreen people entering/exiting through the employee entrance/exit areas to ensure authorized entryReport security/safety incidents to Shift Supervisors or the Site Supervisor to ensure proper documentation and follow-upDrive a Mattel fleet vehicle or golf cart throughout the Mattel distribution center and satellite warehouse location (where applicable) to deter any type of activity that would negatively impact the businessProvide a high level of customer service to all Mattel employees, vendors, and visitors on propertyAdditional responsibilities may be requested based on business needs at your locationPerform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections to maintain safety standardsLearn and understand distribution center policies and proceduresUnderstand and perform all duties of the security officer role
