Description In this Controller role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s financial health, enforcing a system of controls that minimize risks and accomplishes budget obligations. We are looking for a candidate who can drive cash generation, improve financial accounting systems, and provide management with the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.Responsibilities: Spearhead the review and management of all accounting operations. Administer the process of closing every month-end. Formulate effective financial strategies to optimize profitability. Compile and present financial statements and reports for management review. Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Consolidate financial data for more straightforward analysis and reporting. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with banking and insurance partners. Monitor internal controls to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Provide assistance in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits. Utilize skills in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes, and Public Accounting to perform job duties effectively.Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in the Wholesale Distribution industry Proficiency in 3M and CRM software Expertise in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Crystal Reports Profound understanding of Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Auditing and Budget Processes Prior experience in Public Accounting Ability to develop and implement financial policies and procedures Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a master's degree or CPA certification is a plus Advanced knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting.For more information on this Controller role and other full time accounting and finance opportunities, please contact us at 484.214.2682 and reference JO#03710-0013061648.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
