In this position, you will plan, develop, coordinate, and administer treatment services and programs at LYDC. You will consult with supervisory and counseling staff as a key member of the clinical team, ensuring compliance with department and bureau policies. Your responsibilities include evaluating treatment programs in assigned cottages, addressing any shortcomings, and participating in program development meetings. You will train direct care staff through modeling and presentations. Additionally, you will coordinate mental health services according to established protocols, assist in treatment plan development, and provide individualized clinical services. Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day

Work hours include shifts of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Overtime and travel may be required as needed.

May change based on operation needs.

You must be willing to accept employment at Loysville Youth Development Center and commute to this location in Perry County.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $66,250.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

A master's degree in a behavioral science, counseling education, rehabilitation, human development or a closely related field.

Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
