Your Day-to-Day:
Assist with maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and instrumentation.
Monitors, maintain, and repairs instrumentation & control cabinets.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Rod Control and Position Indication lab electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
Support engineering leads for the creation of drawings and technical input for Rod Control and Position products.
Compile technical documents and specifications for Rod Control and Position products.
Hands-on troubleshooting of electronic equipment.
Support Test document creation and test execution on New Stanton testbed equipment.Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
High school graduate or recognized equivalent
Specific knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical curriculum as required, as well as knowledge of mathematics.
Post high school degree/certificate or equivalent in experience preferred
0-3 years related experience with demonstrated evidence of mechanical and/or electronic aptitude and skill.
Nuclear experience preferred
Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry is a plus
Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, cabinet drawings and panel layouts is a plus
Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.) is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
Strong organizational, planning skills, and attention to detail.
Strong technical writing ability.
Highly motivated, self-starter.
