The AV Engineer Lead's role is to support and maintain in-house audio-visual, live-streaming, and digital media assets. The role will work with various departments for pre-production, production, and post-production activities. Assist in the creation of broadcast-quality video and audio media content. This may include serving as an event producer and managing camera operators, sound engineers, and editors. The role will also be responsible for operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, and upgrading various audio video products while ensuring their optimal performance. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required. Supports enterprise Audio Video technology by developing standards, evaluating AV technology, and acting as a key leader within the team by providing guidance and support in all audio conferencing, video communications, and all other related efforts. Attend and support corporate and infrastructure project meetings and implementations. Provide comprehensive analysis ensuring audio video systems designs and corporate events meet and/or exceed end user requirements. Provides consultation to business area management and staff at the highest level for all aspects of audio video software and hardware and conferencing services. Coordinates the planning, administration, and implementation of corporate wide audio video services Provides equipment setup and installation of end user equipment, educating and orienting end users. Provides support and guidance to lower level analysts. Participates in technical walk-through reviews with appropriate team members and stakeholders as required.

Qualifications / Education:
  • Five to ten (5 - 10) years of experience with Audio Video Technologies, Conferencing / Collaboration Technologies.
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) is a plus
  • Three to five (3 -5) years of experience with live streaming technologies.
  • Knowledge of Polycom video conference hardware and Infrastructure, NewTech TriCaster, Network Device Interface (NDI) cameras. wireless microphones, audio mixers
  • Ability to integrate and maintain streaming video components
  • Hands-on technical knowledge of audio-visual protocols and standards
  • ITIL Foundations, a plus.
  • Presentation skills with PowerPoint, ability to write comprehensive plan in Word, and proficient with MS Project.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Other:
  • Able to be on-call during off-business hours and weekends
  • Able to travel to AmeriHealth business sites to support audio video events
  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate power tools, computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as projectors, TVs, Video carts, etc.
