Description We are looking for a diligent Office Assistant to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Norristown, Pennsylvania. This role primarily involves managing customer claims, effective communication with stakeholders, and handling contractual obligations. The position also entails managing an inventory of out of business notifications and coordinating with various departments for efficient operations. Responsibilities: Communicating with customers who are unable to continue meeting their contractual obligations due to business closure Utilizing knowledge of equipment lease contracts to enforce the terms and conditions Collaborating with Asset Management to generate Return Authorizations and calculate orderly liquidation value (OLV) of the assets Showcasing strong negotiation skills in the event of a settlement Paying attention to detail and managing an ongoing inventory of out of business notifications Partnering with cash application to ensure contracts are terminated timely and equipment has been returned Displaying ability to change priorities quickly and work well with others Organizing a vast array of facts and data to provide risk-related recommendations Managing complex legal, business, and financial structures independently Directly impacting recoveries and risk costs through strategic decisions and actions. Requirements Proven experience as an Office Assistant in the manufacturing industry Excellent customer service skills and a customer-oriented mindset Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with contracts and contractual obligations Proficiency in using 'About Time' software for time management and attendance tracking Knowledge of collection processes and recovery mechanisms Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks and manage cash applications Experience in claim administration and negotiation processes Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and manage relationships effectively Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Familiarity with litigation processes and authorizations Experience with onsite work and settlements Proficiency in contacting methods and techniques Knowledge of asset management practices Ability to manage notifications and mailbox effectively Understanding of liquidation processes Familiarity with FACTS software for financial management Ability to manage recoveries effectively.
