Responsibilities:
Read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications and layout
Accurately measure spaces to ensure proper fit and alignment while marking locations for installation of materials
Install custom woodwork, cabinetry, shelving, displays, and other decorative pieces that require a high level of skill and craftmanship ensuring each unit is level, plumb, and properly anchored to walls or floors
Install hardware such as handles, hinges, and locks while verifying functionality and attachment
Work closely with architects, designers, and other construction professionals cohesively to adhered to project timelines
Follow Safety protocols and building codes to remain in compliance and provide a safe working environment
Qualifications:
Completion of a relevant finish carpentry training program and/or apprenticeship
Three to five years experience providing high end craftsmanship
OSHA 10 Construction Safety or willingness to obtain
Ability to read blueprints
Tools of the trade and full PPE
Keen attention to detail
Ability to safely lift heavy tools and materials of 50+lbs
