FirstLight Home Care of the Mainline is Actively and Urgently seeking kind, compassionate and reliable mature adults to join our home care team in working with seniors who need help in order to remain living at home.
We're seeking the best humans with helpful and cheerful dispositions to join us as In-Home Caregivers and Direct Support Personal Assistants for Seniors in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties.
Openings in all 3 counties for both men and women caregivers, mornings, weekdays, afternoons, evenings and weekends available.
We offer flexible hours. Whether you want to work 4 hours a week or 40, we are here to support you by giving you an opportunity to help seniors while earning income and maintaining your lifestyle and hobbies.
Assisting Clients to "Rise and Shine" and get ready for the day, Conversation and Companionship, Shopping, Cooking a Meal, Pet Care, Light Housekeeping, or Transporting a Client on an Outing or to an Appointment, there are many ways you can help. We thoughtfully pair our caregivers with clients that share things in common such as former professions, hobbies, or upbringing to maximize social engagement. The relationship that forms is rewarding for everyone!
Qualifications:
Mature individuals who consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, reliability, professionalism, and cheerful disposition.
Willingness to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and client’s family
Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours. Able-bodied is a must!
Additional Requirements include: TB Test, Criminal Background Check and Completion of a Competency and Training Program.
