The award-winning FIS Insurance Risk Suite helps you automate and control all actuarial processes, cost-effectively achieve compliance, and respond with agility in a volatile market that's rife with emerging risks.We are looking for an Actuarial Product Development Manager to join our US Actuarial Library team, supporting the enhancement of the US libraries supplied with the FIS Insurance Risk Suite (Prophet) solution.We sit at the forefront of the Insurance modelling industry and empower insurers and reinsurers around the world with the tools and services they need to reliably manage their risks. In the US Actuarial Library team, you will enhance the modelling capabilities in Prophet to meet customer needs around insurance product and regulatory developments affecting the US insurance industry.Responsibilities in the role will include:

Develop actuarial code provided with the US liability libraries, focusing on life insurance products.

Review peers' actuarial code for accuracy and appropriateness

Ensure that product deliverables are suitable and well documented.

Work closely with other actuarial teams to deliver holistic solutions.

Perform work management for other actuarial staff.What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or science-based subject

At least 5 years' experience working on life insurance products in a life insurance department or consultancy.

Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or Member of the American Academy of Actuaries

Have used the Prophet system for a minimum of 5 years or will have demonstrably equivalent experience and will have been involved in key business projects using Prophet or other actuarial modelling platforms.

A background in insurance or financial services, and a general knowledge of the US insurance industry's regulatory and reporting frameworks - US Statutory pre-PBR and PBR requirements, US GAAP pre-LDTI and LDTI requirements, US Tax reserves and Asset / liability management or cash flow testing

A good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Strong problem solving and analytic skills.Added bonus if you have:

Familiarity with the US libraries supplied with Prophet, preferably the US 360 libraries.

Worked directly with numerous advanced Prophet modeling techniques: new business processing, calculation looping, rebasing, goal seeking, extended formulas, nested structures, modules, or dynamic and stochastic modelling.

Awareness of potential performance bottlenecks and solutions when designing models

Technical knowledge of programming and systems development
