Located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, a long-term contract / temporary Legal Secretary vacancy is looking to be filled.Your responsibilities

Administer assigned files and deliver legal services under attorney supervision

Manage and improve calendars and billing sheets

Provide assistance for several attorneys

Address clients with legal correspondences

Utilize organizational skills to effectively and efficiently assist attorneys in the resolution of files

Apply extensive knowledge of legal procedures

Organize client interaction

Strong communication skills required to communicate with clients effectively and efficiently over the phone

Maintain office efficiency by completing administrative tasks as necessary Requirements - Should possess a thorough knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets

Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

Practical knowledge of Dictation

Adeptness in Billing Functions

Demonstrated knowledge of Briefing

Solid understanding of LexisNexis

Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Documentation experience highly preferred

Microsoft Office Suites experience preferred

Expertise in Management System

General familiarity with Calendar Management

Microsoft Outlook experience

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Knowledgeable about and experienced with legal correspondence and court filing procedures is a plus

Meticulous understanding and comprehension of local jurisdictional and federal court rules and procedures

Knowledge in database management
