The Project Coordinator will support the execution of Transition Pathways of the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute's strategic initiatives. Join a dynamic, visionary team striving to make change for employment outcomes for people with autism and other disabilities in Philadelphia and beyond.
As Project Coordinator you will lead innovative project(s) supporting individuals to launch careers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your vision/ideas to a small creative team of change makers; with ongoing opportunities for personal and professional growth within the Project Coordinator role and amongst the team. Your contribution would support the growth and scale of impactful initiatives.
Dutiesinclude project development, implementation and coordination, outreach, data collection, and reporting. As Project Coordinator, you would coordinate internal and external strategic partnerships, and work with participants to support employment outcomes for individuals on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities. Your area of focus may evolve, and shift based on current funding, grants, and other initiatives.
This position reports to the Director of Community Impact, Transition Pathways of the AJDAI.
Essential Functions
Support Transition Pathways initiatives that focus on improving outcomes for people on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities:
Stay up to date on evidence-based strategies and practices that increase inclusion across all stages of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to interviewing, onboarding, hiring, training, supervision, retention, and advancement
Develop and implement career workshops and other learning opportunities for job seekers with autism and other disabilities
Support the transition of participants to employment o Provide direct support, 1:1 or in small groups, to neurodivergent individuals and those with other disabilities in support of their employment endeavors
Support business development for career exposure and internship experiences
Coordinate business engagement activities to support project(s) goals
Facilitate participant registration with OVR and Workforce Development for participation in project activities
Track, document, and manage participant activities
Contribute skills and experience across Transition Pathways initiatives &Coordinate project(s):
Develop timelines and deliverables of assigned project(s)
Oversee general operations of assigned project(s)
Implement project(s) to fidelity
Support the identification of project participants, as necessary
Collaborate and manage appropriate partnerships for assigned project(s)
Collect project(s) data o Complete required reporting for assigned project(s)
Assist in the evaluation of project(s) effectiveness
Grow and build sustainability for project(s)
Tasks and responsibilities of this position may require occasional travel, evening, or weekend hours
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, marketing, entrepreneurship, Human resources, communications, education, psychology or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

2-3 years in related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and other disabilities in obtaining competitive integrated employment, preferred
Experience with workforce development and business engagement, strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey clear messages to diverse audiences
Ability to work independently
Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
Thorough and consistent communication with team members on task progress and completio
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Additional Information
This position is classified as exempt, grade I. Compensation for this grade ranges from $41,120 - $61,680. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
