Bluestone Country Club in Blue Bell PA is looking for an energetic and experienced food and beverage manager.
This position will assure the highest standards of service including room appearance, hospitality of service staff, as well as the cleanliness of food and beverage facilities, and will provide supervision and training to staff.
Our ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of supervisory experience in an upscale club or restaurant, with strong customer service, communication and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to work a flexible, 5 day work week schedule, totaling 45- 50 hours per week. Some opening and/or closing shifts a must, including some holidays and weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following.
Performs daily operation. Ensuring all service and side work procedures are followed. Ensure proper handling of all equipment to prevent breakage and/or loss, and following appropriate service standards. Inspect work area to ensure all equipment is clean, sanitized properly and in working order at all times.
Maintain clean work and dining areas at all times, while adhering to food and safety standards.
Restocking supplies, cleaning the working areas, communicating with staff about any issues or tasks that need to be done prior to opening.
Other duties may be assigned.
