Responsibilities:

A sushi helper typically assists in various sushi preparation and service tasks. Their responsibilities may include:

1. Preparation: Helping with preparing ingredients such as cutting fish, preparing rice, and making sauces.

2. Assembly: Assisting the sushi chef in assembling sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other sushi dishes.

3. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean and sanitized, including tools and equipment used for sushi preparation.

4. Stock Management: Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and notifying when items need to be reordered.

5. Learning and Development: Continuously learning about different types of sushi, ingredients, and techniques to improve skills.

A sushi helper plays a crucial role in supporting the sushi chef and ensuring smooth operations in a sushi restaurant or establishment.

Schedule:

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 5 days per week. The kitchen closes at 9:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and at 10:30 pm from Friday to Sunday. Closing duties are typically completed within 30 minutes after kitchen closure.

Payment Information:

Our payroll operates on a semi-monthly basis, covering the periods from the 1st to the 15th and the 16th to the end of the month.

Payday falls on the 20th and the 5th of each month.

Cash tips are split among on-shift employees, while credit card tips are included in wages and disbursed with paychecks.
