Overview: Seafood America, a high quality seafood manufacturer in Warminster, PA is seeking Production Worker/Warehouse Porter for first shift. Apply in person at 645 Mearns Road Warminster, PA 18974 to receive a tour and brief interview.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse responsibilities include loading of trucks for outbound to secondary warehouse, unloading inbound raw materials, porter for production team including sweeping, trash removal, and general organization of storage area.
Food production responsibilities, including mixing, frying, and hand work
Stacking cases of finished product onto pallets as they come off the packaging line.
Operate machines, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, basic quality control, and waste control.
Responsible for taking products off racks and pack into boxes
Responsible for stacking products from track conveyor onto skids.
Responsible for properly labeling and code dating of finished product.
Cleans production and common areas
Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment
Follows procedures to properly fill out, maintain and collect required cleaning records and signs off that cleaning requirements are met.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to machinery, floors and fixtures.
Follows all applicable Safety Procedures including/ but not limited to safe chemical handling.
Performs other job-related responsibilities as assigned
Skills and Qualities:
Forklift/Pallet jack certified preferred but not required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
Constantly uses repetitive movement of (hands, arms, legs) to (sweep, vacuum, mop, wipe).
Frequently positions self to perform cleaning duties by stooping, bending, crawling, crouching, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
Ability to work in hot or cold environment (Cooler, Freezer, Oven room)
