LAH Security, LLC Protection Specialist MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKDAYS, EVENINGS, NIGHTS & WEEKENDS

Hourly Rate:

Start $23.00 / hour

JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities:

Provide for the safety and personal security of various family members within a residential compound

located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, as well as provide secure transportation as necessary in and

around the Greater Philadelphia area.

Observe and report any event that may impact operations or compromise the safety of the client.

Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.

Essential Functions:

Provide emergency first aid/CPR if needed and have certification in each.

Employ proactive measures to reduce threats via site visits and pre-planning.

Maintain proficiency in relevant protective services training.

Maintain the executive transportation vehicle to include mandatory equipment (road emergency kit,

medical/trauma kit, defibrillator, etc.).

Execute basic security functions such as perimeter and interior foot patrols, monitor CCTV and other

systems, secure client property and assets, stand post, etc.

Efficiently convey information between clients, staff, and organization.

Provide and coordinate movement and logistics to support the client's itinerary.

Enforce operating procedures and site-specific instructions.

Setup and execute basic security functions, i.e., perimeter and access control, identification procedures,

command post operations, secure assets/property, and post standing duties.

REQUIREMENTS

Currently possess PA Act 235 permit.

Currently possess or can obtain a Pennsylvania Conceal Carry Permit.

Capable of independent thinking and able to communicate with all levels of guests and fellow employees.

No felony conviction; no misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.

Reliable transportation; Reliable means of communication (active e-mail and cell phone);

Customer service oriented - telephone etiquette, interpersonal – strong communication skills.

Ability to pass a physical fitness assessment.

Must successfully pass drug screen and background check.

Ability to be discreet and maintain a high level of confidence.

High school diploma (Bachelors or advanced degree preferred);

Military, law enforcement and/or protective services experience preferred.

Certification in AED/First Aid/CPR.

Prior executive driving experience & training is preferred (either in the public or private sector).

Ability to work long hours including weekends.

A competent knowledge of local roadways.

Ability to travel with the executive and maintain a current passport
