Industrial repair multicraft technician
Location: Downingtown, PA. Travel required up to 50% (company van/tools provided)

About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on multicraft technician to service, maintain, and repair industrial shredders and balers. This role combines mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting with customer-facing support. You’ll work both in-house and on-site, ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct all work in an OSHA-compliant manner with safety in mind.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Service and maintain shredders and cardboard balers
Assemble and install equipment at customer facilities
Provide technical support and training to customers and technicians via phone and in person
Complete service reports and maintain tools/workspace
Travel up to 50% with company-provided van and tools
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills and abilities in mechanical repair; electrical low voltage, AC (3-phase) and hydraulics preferred
2+ years in equipment service operations
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Clean driving record
Good role for people coming from automotive, truck, HVAC, and appliance repair trades. Trade school graduates welcome to apply.
